Membership | Organizational Members | Associate Members
Membership in KAMU consists of organizations which are part of or support Kansas primary care safety net clinics such as state funded primary care clinics, faith based clinics, indigent clinics, local health departments providing primary care, community health centers, federally qualified health centers look-alikes and other non-profit primary care clinics.
There are two classes of membership: Organizational Membership and Associate Membership.
Organizational Membership is available to non-profit or public organizations that share the mission of KAMU and that deliver primary and preventive health care services to patients regardless of ability to pay either by legal mandate or explicitly adopted mission. Each Organizational Member has one vote at meetings of the General Membership. Organizational members are entitled to all membership benefits.
Associate membership is available to non-profit or public organizations that deliver primary and preventative health care services to patients regardless of their ability to pay. Associate members are non-voting members and are entitled to basic membership benefits.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS
KAMU’s membership year is January 1 - December 31. All applications must be signed and submitted with any applicable documentation to Val Renault, Director of Resource Development and Communications for approval by the KAMU Board of Directors.
