The goal of KAMU's clinical area is to support clinicians working at the safety net clinics. The staff working at KAMU's clinical area is committed to provide technical assistance, resources and tools to the clinicians in order to enhance their knowledge and competence and encourage sharing of best practices. The KAMU clinical staff has a focus on building strong state and local partnerships to develop expertise in support of clinicians in the field. The clinical services team works to stay up-to-date and to be an advocate for expanding what clinicians can offer to their patients. Furthermore, the clinical team at KAMU offers support in expanding clinical services and promoting innovative ideas, activities and projects that could benefit the clinics, the clinicians and ultimately improve patients' outcomes.

• Placement of AmeriCorps members to serve in various capacities at the clinics
• Clinicians recruitment and retention tools and training opportunities
• Technical assistance in development of emergency preparedness programs
• Technical assistance in quality improvement activities and training opportunities
• Scholarships, networking and training opportunities for clinicians
