Free Advocacy Training and/or Board Development Training
Connie Hubbell, Director of Governmental Affairs for KAMU, is available to provide training for KAMU member’s staff and Board. Connie has experience and expertise in Advocacy Training and Board Development Training and would be pleased to come to your clinic to do a training on either of these topics or a combination of the two. She can customize her presentation to meet member clinics’ specific needs. Inviting Board Members to the Advocacy Training is recommended as they too play a very important role in our advocacy efforts.
The Board Training Module includes information for Board members to help them better understand their roles, responsibilities and opportunities. The participation of the senior management team in the Board Training would also be extremely beneficial.
Trainings can be anywhere from one to three hours, depending upon the organizational goals, and will be provided at no charge. Connie is available this summer and fall to provide the trainings. She can be reached at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or (785) 233-8483 for more information, or to schedule a training session.
